If I join a union circle for the opposite version, can I find version exclusives for the opposite version on my own?

Say I'm a violet player who wants to get shiny Flutter Mane and I join a union circle with someone who has scarlet, are the Pokemons spawning in the area the scarlet exclusives or are they violet exclusives for me and the owner of the scarlet version has to find the shiny Flutter Mane on their own for me to get it?

The one feature that will be highly used in the Union Circle is the Version Exclusives. When not around other players, the Pokémon that will spawn will always be that of your own game. However, if other players are in the Union Circle and are around you, they will have Pokémon spawn as well, meaning you can have exclusives spawn in other games, and even side by side, allowing for you to get other players their exclusives.

So if you want Pokemon Scarlet version exclusives, you have to be around other players and hope that they spawn said version exclusives for you to catch.
