The opposing Drednaw used Gastro Acid!
[Gholdengo's Good as Gold]
It doesn't affect Gholdengo...

Gastro Acid can't negate Good as Gold.

Could you post a link to the replay? Then I'll accept this answer.
Is this really the case though? Cancerdengo is a steel type so it is immune to to gastro acid. I tried using skill swap but the thing doesn't get skill swapped
Ok never mind. I managed to figure it out and even against a non steel type, gastro acid doesn't negate this cancerous ability

Yes, but only if Good as Gold is negated/suppressed while Gastro Acid hits.

Mold Breaker, Teravolt, Turboblaze, Neutralizing Gas, and Mycelium Might negate or suppress Good as Gold, so if you have one of those abilities present/on the field while you use Gastro Acid, Good as Gold will be negated by it, even if those abilities leave the field. This is super redundant because you have to suppress/negate Good as Gold to use a move that negates Good as Gold, but it still works.
