Garchomp or Hisuian Goodra for Legends Arceus?

I was replaying the game and realized that I had used neither of these 'mons in a playthrough before.

goodra solely because Garchomp would share a ground typing with graveler. if you didn’t provide your team though, I’d say Garchomp (just a better Pokémon overall).

The Gible line is found between the 4th and 5th areas (Coronet Highlands and Alabaster Icelands).
Goomy/Sliggoo and Goodra are found both in the 2nd and 4th areas (Crimson Mirelands and Coronet Highlands).

Most definitely Hisuian Goodra. You can catch a Goomy at Crimson Mirelands, while with Garchomp it takes a while to get and a lot of them are alpha or too late in the game.

If I may, Garchomp also got nerfed in Legends: Arceus. Its most substantial STAB move, Earthquake, was inaccessible in this game, and the strongest Ground-type move it can get is Bulldoze. Not having Earthquake and being available so late in the game makes Garchomp less attractive than Hisuian Goodra.
