I had been wonder trading and was asked to link trade and was traded an egg. I didn't think much at first until I noticed the Pokerus, and that the name displayed Japanese characters instead of being called 'egg'. The summary also says "It looks as though this egg will take a long time to hatch." Bad egg or not? Afraid my game may end up breaking if it happens to be one.

I think it’s probably fine, and here’s my reasonings why:

1. It says “What Pokémon will hatch from this Egg? It doesn't seem close to hatching.” Which is normal for Pokémon eggs
2. Normal egg name
3. Pokerus can transfer to eggs in gen six, as per https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/2pek0h/oras_psa_pokerus_can_be_spread_to_eggs/
 4) the games filter didn’t stop the egg from going through with the trade. Usually if there’s an obviously hacked Pokémon, the trade won’t go through
5) your game didn’t crash yet

Tl;dr it’s probably safe to hatch
If the egg ever had the description that it will take a "long time" to hatch, then it simply must be hacked. I doubt it will cause problems if it hatches, though.
@fizz look at the screenshots; it says what I quoted
Yes. If you walk enough steps then the description will change to what is in the picture.
@Fizz there are two notable exceptions to "it simply must be hacked": the Wynaut and Togepi Eggs in, conveniently enough, ORAS. It's very possible that someone offloaded one of these and the Egg is perfectly legitimate.

Even if this was a Bad Egg, it's unlikely your game would be permanently misconfigured. However, it's likely this Egg is legitimate: the Wynaut and Togepi Eggs from ORAS display this message and are the only Eggs that can legally do so.
