What’s the item limit in Ruby/Sapphire across region variants?

Im playing Sapphire in Japanese and my bag is full and it has like 15 items. I don’t remember my bag ever getting full in the English versions and I was wondering if the item limit is different across regions, and what the limit is per pocket?

This thing says the limit is 20 and doesn't mention other languages, which means it's probably wrong.

In that case can you just load your save and count how many items there are?

Unfortunately no. I just emptied out my bag so I only have 10 items (I did count)

I do have these games in both English and Japanese, and can verify that in both cases, the Items pocket of the bag has a limit of 30 distinct items, with up to 99 copies of each item. The Poke Ball/Berry/TM pockets are all big enough to hold every possible variety of their respective items (11, 43, and 58 respectively).
