How do you get more boxes in amanitas pc in black/white?

Question

I have 8 boxes in amanitas pc in black white.
I thought this was normal until i heard my cousin had 16 ( I think )
Why is this
I play black he play white

Put one pokemon in each box. Exit the pc and enter again. Now u will have 16 boxes.

If you put pokemon in each of the 16 boxes, you get 24 :D
