What’s the Glitch in Gen 5 that changes your shiny odds, and how to do it?

I’m watching Dallas stream and someone just superchatted that there is a glitch that increased shiny odds in BW, and I’d like to know the details.

They say it makes the odds 1/1000.

Is this real?

There isn't a documented glitch that changes your shiny odds. If something so major existed, it would have a section on Bulbapedia's Gen V list of glitches.
