Does Quick guard affect prankster?

Question

it is supposed to be a mini-protect against priority. And Prankster gives Status moves Priority. So would Quick Guard protect against Whismicott's leech seed?

Magic coat works great as a counter for Whimsicot as it rarely carries attacking moves. When it usually starts out with taunt, it'll end up taunting itself, then end up struggling or having to switch.

In Generation V, Quick Guard couldn't block Prankster-boosted moves. Starting in Generation VI, Prankster-boosted moves are able to be blocked by Quick Guard.
