As mentioned in one of my questions, platypuses are some of my favorite animals, probably in the top 3, but I've never seen a Pokemon based on one, despite the hundreds of animal based Pokemon. Is there a platypus Pokemon, or something that resembles a platypus?

Psyduck's design appears to draw inspiration from both ducks and platypuses. Its yellow coloration, proportions, and simple anatomy seem to be inspired by rubber ducks in particular.

Golduck's appearance has aspects of a duck, a platypus, and a kappa.

These two are the only ones (unless I'm forgetting one, please tell me if so).

Thanks, so pretty much no, except for the Pyduck line, which kind of resemble platypi, is it platypi, or platypusses?
It's platypuses, unless for some reason you want to use the Greek form and do "platypodes".
Okay..
The Lotad family might count as platypuses.
I don't get why the lotad family could count as a platypus pokemon.
To add onto this:
Scientists generally use "platypuses" or simply "platypus". Colloquially, the term "platypi" is also used for the plural, although this is a form of pseudo-Latin; going by the word's Greek roots the plural would be "platypodes".
Cool info Aurelius!
