Does boldore have eyes or ears?

i noticed that Gigalith has eyes that are clearly eyes, but boldore's "eyes" look more like roggenrola's ear, so are they eyes or ears?

We don't know, but it's pretty likely they're ears. Here's part of its entry from Shield:

It relies on sound in order to monitor what’s in its vicinity.

Why would it be reliant on sound if they were eyes? Some animals do indeed prefer sound over sight, but it's rather probable that Boldore simply doesn't have eyes yet.
