I don’t know If scizor is the best choice for a bug type and I kind of want to swap him

Is this for competitive or in-game? What game/format are you playing
Vikavolt, Golispod, Orbeetle.
Sword and the only types that my Pokémon don’t have is water electric bug and psychic
Orbeetle is a bug-psychic so you could use that If you wanted more types.
What do you want to do with this Scizor? Do you want to battle other people, the Battle Tower, in-game trainers, or something else?
Golisopod is good. Give it razor shell/liquidation, first impression, x scissor and drill run and watch it sweep(just don't get hit first lol)

Scizor is definitely a good Bug type, but to obtain it, you need to trade. Good physical Bug types are Pheromosa, Scyther, Scolipede, and Golisopod. Good special ones are Galvantula, Ribombee, Vikavolt, Orbeetle to an extent, and Volcarona. I do definitely recommend Scizor, it's excellent, but it being a trade evolution hinders it. Here's a set:

Scizor @ anything
Ability: Technician
- X-Scissor / U-turn
- Metal Claw / Bullet Punch
- Brick Break
- any other physical move

The physical Bug type I recommend the most outside of Scizor is definitely Scolipede. Here's a set:

Scolipede @ Life Orb / anything else
Ability: Speed Boost / Swarm
- Megahorn
- Posion Jab
- Earthquake
- Throat Chop

The special Bug type I recommend is Volcarona , but if you can't get that, Ribombee.

Volcarona @ Silver Powder
Ability: Swarm / Falme Body
- Quiver Dance / Psychic
- Bug Buzz
- Flamethrower / Fiery Dance
- Giga Drain / Psychic

Ribombee @ Silver Powder / Pixie Plate
Ability: Shield Dust
- Pollen Puff / Bug Buzz
- Dazzling Gleam
- Energy Ball
- Psychic

Hope I helped!

I think the asker already has it
Thanks I think I’m gonna keep scizor plus since I can just ask someone to trade with me on pokebase evolving him isn’t a problem
You're welcome!
Me: ISLE OF ARMOR HAS SCIZOR IN THE WILD WITHOUT TRADES LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Edit: Galvantula is super underrated. It can get energy ball, bug buzz, t-bolt/thunder(compound eyes) and something else(just not a physical move)

Keep Scizor, if you already have it

Your other options are pretty bad.

  • Scizor is a relatively fast Bug type with a powerful priority move in Bullet Punch, which it learns upon evolution. It is also able to use Swords Dance (TR or Level 48). Scizor is also a good user of False Swipe since it is boosted by 50% if you have Technician. However, keep it away from Fire moves.

  • Vikavolt is slow and not very bulky. If you don't faint in 1 or 2 hits, Vikavolt can prove to be pretty useful in breaking down things you normally wouldn't be able to very easily.

  • Orbeetle lacks a good ability and has a pathetic Attack stat and a meh Special Attack stat. In-game, you mostly just want to muscle through everything instead of being defensive.

  • Golisopod has a very annoying ability and is really slow. Unlike Vikavolt, Emergency Exit and its many weaknesses prevent it from being useful. Catching Wimpod is a pretty infuriating process, too.

I know you didn't mention these Pokemon, but you can give them a try

  • Volcarona is a very powerful sweeper. After a single Quiver Dance, there isn't much capable of stopping it from steamrolling the enemy team. However, it evolves at level 59...
  • Ribombee is a great choice for early-game. Cutiefly is very fast and evolves quickly too, at level 25. It can also work in mid-game stages, as 95 Special Attack and 124 Speed isn't bad at all.
