Why is it so common to trade with people who have obviously hacked Pokémon?

I was trading on my Pokémon shield account earlier today, and I noticed that a lot of people have hacked Pokémon... is there a reason for that?

Hacked Pokémon are generally either extremely rare or just incredibly strong, and even a combination of those. Those are all Pokémon that you would want to have, so hackers make that exist for you.

Hackers and people with hacked shinies try to scam people

These people are trying to find noobs who think “OMG SHOINY MYTHICAL I TRADE ANYTHING” and scam them for legitimate valuable Pokémon.
