Prof. Oak didn't give me the red orb, so after I get the Hoenn starter what do I do?

Professor Oak DOES NOT give you the red orb, mr pokemon does in exchange for a red scale found at the lake of rage after you catch/kill the red gyrados. If you go back to his house after you get the exp. share, he gives it to you.

Yeah, I mistake for Oak and Mr.Pokémon:)) But Oak gives you Jade Orb, don't he?
