Can you get Confused and Paralysed at the same time?

Paralysis is a major status condition but confusion isn’t
So is it possible to get both confused and paralysed at the same time?

short answer: yes, confusion is it’s own thing and technically not a status condition as it heals when you switch

It is a status condition, but it's referred to as a minor status condiotion, posion, burn, and those are called major status conditions

You could Paralyse them and then confuse them
So they could either not move or smack themselves

Confusion gets cured when the Pokemon switches, and it has only a 1/3 chance of hurting itself each turn if it doesn't switch.
