are all the pokemon in the 5th generation designed in USA?

I heard that all the Pokemon in the 5th generation are made in the USA and also the area in game. From 1st to 4th Pokemon game is based on the area in Japan but i heard that 5th is based on New York city. Do u have any comments?

The actual game itself and the Pokemon were created in Japan like all Nintendo games. But the Unova region is heavily based on America and in particular New York. Castelia City is based on Manhatten (downtown New York).

well i know that castelia was based on New York, so I'm guessing the rest was based on other places in the US
