I have a Fearow but I want to replace it with another Flying-type. A Dragon/Flying-type is what I recommend, but I'll go with something else if it's better

Do you want specifically a Flying type or just something that can learn Fly?
I just want a flying type, specifically a dual type flying type like a dragon flying type for example kyogre71.

Dragonite can serve you well. Its STAB attacks can safely take down Erika and part of Red's team, and it resists Misty, Blaine, and Giovanni.

Ho-Oh is also very good. It has a massive BST, and its STAB moves take out Erika and part of Red's team nicely, while resisting Blaine and Giovanni.

Either works, but as you said you wanted a Dragon/Flying type, go for Dragonite.

Hope I helped!

Crobat or skarmory are good too as they resist Red's venusaur's sludge bomb.
And you can easily breed skarmory with your fearow for drill peck.
Skarmory's steel type is awesome since it's immune to poison and you'd be using flying type for grass types but most flying types don't resist poison. Crobat does, but it's not immune.
Crobat has poison fang though, which has 30% chance to badly poison. But other than that, i'd pick skarmory as long as it gets drill peck. Skarmory is better than crobat in the fact it isn't weak to rock moves as steel type resists it. When you use flying Pokemon against fighting types they often use rock moves which dragon/flying types are also weak against. And I'm sad to say crobat is also easily knocked out by moves like stone edge. Still, crobat is pretty good for post game too.
Skarmory however, you can only get at SS.
If these don't suit you and you want dragon type, dragonite might be your only option.

If you surf on Route 43, it's not possible to find a Pokemon between level 26 and 49, but it is possible to find a level 50 Magikarp. Thus, the fastest way to find the Magikarp is making sure your first Pokemon's level is between 26 and 50 and using a repel.

In addition to arriving at a high level, Gyarados has high physical attack, good offensive typing, and a wide movepool that includes dragon dance. Many bosses have a weak Pokemon that will let Gyarados use 3 or 4 dragon dances and then solo the boss fight. Unlike Lugia and Ho-Oh, it's allowed in the Battle Frontier. This is the moveset I recommend.

Gyarados @ leftovers/Lum berry
EVs: 100 Spe
- dragon dance
- waterfall
- bounce
- ice fang/earthquake
