If someone uses perish song on my Pokemon and then I switch out will my Pokemon still faint after three tirns?

I was just wondering if perish song still works if the Pokemon it was used on switches out. Also if my Pokemon faints after using it will it still work?

Switching out removes the effect of Perish Song from the Pokémon, which will prevent it from fainting. You could even switch it out on the first turn of Perish Song, and then bring it back in on the second or third turn and it won’t faint.
If your Pokémon uses Perish Song, and the opponent KOs it before they faint from it, it will still KO them on the 3rd turn if they don’t switch.

If any Pokemon afflicted by Perish Song or Perish Body switch out the affect ends. Perish Song will still work on the opponents Pokemon regardless of if yours faints. If the opponent switches out however, the affect is canceled.
