Will Stance Change activate with Max Guard?

If you use max guard with a dynamaxed Aegislash (and the max guard is based off of King's Shield) will it switch to Shield Forme?

No, Aegislash cannot switch back to Shield Form when Dynamaxed and using Max Guard, even if it's based off Kings Shield; it can only go from Shield to Blade.
