Is a Pokemon healed when it is put into the Day Care?

I'm playing through Pokemon Platinum and have a Staravia about to go in the Day Care that is poisoned and at 1 HP. Just wondering if it will heal it when it goes in.

Your Pokemon will be fully healed when you take it out of the Day Care.
