Will a Japanese Ditto and English Snorunt count for Masuda method?

I am breeding foreign JAP shiny ditto with 6iv with a Casual English language Male Snorunt. Will this count as a Masuda Method or am doing something wrong?

Yes, any Pokemon bred with another Pokemon from a different language than the first Pokemon will work for Masuda Method-ing.

For example, an english Starly and a japanese Ditto would work.

The 2 parents need to be from different languages. The game's language doesn't matter. So the Masuda method won't work if you breed 2 Japanese Pokemon in an English game.
