Does Hex double power with Sleeping in progress?

So I was making sure my Gengar was ready for Singles by preparing in the battle tree, I ran Hypnosis and was thinking about getting Hex instead of Dream Eater. Both good moves, massive power when a status condition is in affect. Doing damage AND regaining HP. I'm currently hanging with Dream Eater for now. But to my question, does Hex really double during sleeping?

Yes.

Hex inflicts damage, but if the target has a major status ailment (i.e. is burned, poisoned, paralyzed, asleep or frozen) it will double in power to 130.
