Special Sweet Sweeper

Inteleon @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Snipe Shot / Scald
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- Focus Energy

  • Snipe Shot/Scald: Most reliable STAB/Chance to Burn
  • Ice Beam: Coverage against Grass, Dragons
  • Dark Pulse: Coverage + 20% Chance to Flinch
  • Focus Energy: Means death (if you get to setup)

Sweet due to its ability Sniper. A great moveset for a Water type Pokemon with reliable and powerful STAB along with Ice Beam to counter Grass and Dragon types. Dark Pulse is a great move for coverage and helpful with a high speed stat of Inteleon (further boosted due to Timid Nature and max EVs) as it can cause flinching.

The best part is Focus Energy. Focus Energy raises the Critical-Hit Ratio by 2 Stages. Adding 1 Stage boost in Critical-Hit Ratio from Scope Lens makes it 3. From Gen VI onwards, a 3-Stage boost in Critical-Hit Ratio means a guaranteed critical hit which deals 2.25x damage due to the ability Sniper. This one is meant to sweep sweetly!

i really like this build since it has good coverage and the critical hit ratio + critical hit damage boost and with focus energy its almost guaranteed with moves like snipe shot
I see you were looking into the future, I this move set on a video on YT. All of it flows so well too. I don't have Timid as my Nature but I have Modest to for the SpA. My EVs are the same 252SpA l 252Spe l 4HP. You might want to change the HP since it's over by 2.
This is a really good moveset, but I replaced dark pulse with Substitute
I think its a good set bc even tho it wouldnt do as much with torrent it would still deal a lot of damage with its high crit ratio
Also snipe shot has increase critical chance
I use this moveset on my Inteleon and it’s really fun. Focus energy lets you OHKO nearly everything
this is the best inteleon set ive seen i obliterated an entire team with this
Also DeathCea I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that 6 evs is actually possible, but still only gives you 1 stat point
I really like this set, the only problem is that inteleon will have to be able to survive long enough in order to set up a focus energy.
@SuperNotEffective it's the same as just having 4 EV's, so I think that 4 EV's is more readable (Its a personal opinion, okay?)
Great set jain but I'm scared that because inteleon is a glass cannon it will die before it gets a chance to set up but other than that awesome

Inteleon @ Scope lens
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Snipe Shot
- Focus Energy
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam

Focus Energy: If you get to set up this just once your Snipe Shot will always crit
Dark Pulse: For coverage and the nice 20% flinch chance
Ice Beam: So your only big threat is electric

Nobody would ever expect a physical Inteleon
Inteleon
Inteleon @ Focus Sash
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Liquidation
- Acrobatics
- Fell Stinger / Sucker Punch / Aqua Jet / Ice Shard

Set up swords dance, when the sash activates, so does torrent, so you can hit very hard with liquidation. Acrobatics is very powerful when sash activates. Fell Stinger can give you a massive attack boost, Sucker Punch is priority, Aqua Jet is STAB priority, and Ice Shard is priority. Out of these, the best options are Sucker Punch and Aqua Jet, but it’s really what you want.
If you want to Dyanmax / Gigantamax, Acrobatics can take advantage of Max Airstream, too.

Everyone hates it when one pokemon has 3 physical moves and it's physical is good but it's special is dog and it has better special moves then physical
NICE because if u use intel then opponent will want 2 send out a special tank but then u bust out physical moves and sneakily sweep
Inteleons attack is 85 but the sp attack is 125
@Ferrari the main point of the set is to catch special tanks by surprise, so the base stats don't really matter. Besides it has SD to make its mediocre attack stat somewhat decent
Also no-one specks physical inteleon
fell stinger is good because of G-max special threats will suffer sucker punch is also good as max darkness catches special tanks by surprise and lowers their high sp.def

Inteleon @ Mystic Water / Life Orb /Expert Belt / Scope Lens
Ability: Torrent / Sniper
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Snipe Shot / Scald / Hydro Pump / Surf
- Ice Beam
- Air Slash
- Shadow Ball / Dark Pulse

Dark Pulse is a better choice for Dynamax/Gmax

Other viable moves:

Other viable items
- Wacan Berry: For electric types
- Focus Sash: For Inteleon's mediocre defense and special defense

This is my own Inteleon, so don't criticise my inability to get it with Sniper.

Inteleon (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
Gigantamax: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Air Slash
- Mud Shot
- Dark Pulse

Scald: STAB
Air Slash: Max Airstream
Mud Shot: Against Electric types
Dark Pulse: Lowers Sp.Def as Max Darkness

by
edited by
It doesn't have enough bulk and would likely get koed by opponent and mud shot low power likely would require at least 2 hits. It would probably do more damage using Scald or dark pulse. Replace it with ice beam
As Max Quake, it can do a lot more damage and boost Inteleon's Special Defense. Air Slash becomes Max Airstream, which will boost Inteleon's already good Speed and covers grass types just like Ice Beam, which becomes Max Hailstorm, which causes hail. Inteleon will take damage from it, which wouldn't help Inteleon at all. Also, this is a moveset for an Inteleon you would Gigantamax.

Inteleon (M) @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
Gigantamax: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Snipe Shot
- Ice Beam
- Air Slash
- Shadow Ball

Snipe Shot and Sniper and STAB deals so much damage, including which item above you choose also affects it. Ice Beam for that 10% chance Freeze and also for Grass-type coverage, Air Slash can have that Flinch Chance and Grass-type coverage. Shadow Ball for that 20% chance Special Defense Drop, giving Snow Shot and the other moves much more power.

Snipe Shot, not Snow Shot. Sorry for the error!
...you do know you can just edit it, right?

Also, I feel like Focus Energy is better than Shadow Ball, especially on the Scope Lens set.
Instead of air slash since you already have ice beam I'd do dark pulse and change shadow ball to focus so if you can set up then you can automatically crit all snipe shots

Role: Special Sweeper
Inteleon @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
Modest Nature
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Snipe Shot
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- Air Slash

Snipe Shot: STAB, great chance for a Critical hit, and Critical Hits do more with Sniper.
Ice Beam: Covers Grass type Weakness, 10% chance to freeze opponent.
Dark Pulse: Coverage, good flinch chance (20%)
Air Slash: Coverage, great flinch chance (30%).

This is the moveset I'm gonna use in my next Sword playthrough.

Inteleon @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Focus Energy
- Snipe Shot
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam / Mud Shot

Focus energy: This move pretty much guarantees critical hits, especially with the scope lens, sniper ability and snipe shot.
Snipe shot: Like I said before, works well with focus energy, scope lens etc. Powerful STAB
Dark pulse: Good coverage against psychic and ghost
Ice beam / Mud Shot: Ice Beam is preferable, but mud shot is still decent and covers electric, fire, poison, rock and steel. Ice beam covers dragon, flying, grass and ground. Both are good coverage.

Inteleon (M) @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 6 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Snipe Shot
- Ice Beam
- Air Slash
- Aqua Ring

Snipe Shot: Hits HARD
Ice Beam: Hits HARD and kills most dragons/grass types so great coverage
Air Slash: Hits HARD and kills most grass types so decent coverage
Aqua Ring: Decent setup and if you get hit you can likely heal before getting hit again so you can keep a run and possibly sweep.

This is all just what I have on my own Inteleon so don't judge lol

I don't see a point in running Air Slash as coverage for Grass types on something that has Ice Beam as well. Also, Inteleon is way too frail to make use of Aqua Ring and you're pretty much going to be wasting a turn using a rather useless set up move
"This is all just what I have on my own Inteleon so don't judge lol"
You have 2 extra defense on yours? Lucky
I only get 4 defense on mine

That is the final Starter that I have to make a moveset, here I go!!!

Gen VIII
Inteleon @ Life Orb
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Snipe Shot
- Dark Pulse
- Air Slash
- Ice Beam

Snipe Shot is STAB and has INSANE crit ratio thanks to Sniper
Both Dark Pulse and Air Slash are for coverage and have a chance to flinch
Ice beam is also for coverage

Inteleon (M) @ Scope Lens
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Snipe Shot
- Focus Energy
- Air Slash / Dark Pulse / U-turn
- Ice Beam

Snipe Shot / Scald: Most reliable STAB / Chance to Burn
Focus Energy: Means death if you get to setup
Air Slash/ Dark Pulse / U-turn: Flinch or Escape
Ice Beam Coverage for Grass and Dragons

I don't need to explain this.

Choice Specs Sweeper:

Inteleon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald / Surf / Hydro Pump
- Air Slash / U-Turn
- Dark Pulse / Shadow Ball
- Ice Beam

The reason I went for a Torrent set instead of a Sniper one is that it is extremely risky to set up with focus energy in singles unless you have a focus sash. Also, I did not run Mud Shot is because a STAB Scald/Surf/Hydro Pump does more than a Super Effective Mud Shot.
Scald for that burn to cripple physical attackers so they do less damage with physical moves or Surf for a good base power and accuracy or Hydro Pump for high damage but for the cost of accuracy. Any one of these 3 water moves are viable for Inteleon.
Air Slash is for good coverage against Bug and Fighting types and that needed speed boost when Dynamaxed from Max Airstream and also that extremely nice 30% chance to flinch, or you can just run U-Turn for pivot.
Shadow Ball is for sp.def drops but not as good as Dark Pulse when Dynamaxed, in which case Max Darkness lowers the Sp.def of walls. Dark Pulse also has a Flinch Chance. Even though both Dark and Ghost are super-effective against the same types, (Psychic and Ghost), Shadow Ball has a slight advantage being super effective against Hatterene, Gardevoir, and Mimikyu while Dark Pulse hits them neutrally. It's up to you which one you pick.
Lastly, we have Ice Beam, which it is obvious that it would be included.
Hope this set is successful for you

Just try to get some crits.
Also, you can try and get a Pokemon in doubles that draws in the opponent’s moves so you can get the focus energy in, unharmed.

Inteleon @ Wise Glasses
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Snipe Shot
- Mud Shot
- Air Slash
- Focus Energy

so, this is the Inteleon set that I use in Gen 8 Anything Goes, along with my Drizzle Pelipper:

harper (Inteleon) (M) @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Weather Ball / Surf / Hydro Pump
- Work Up
- Substitute
- U-turn

This set is all based around spamming Substitute to get you down to the range where Torrent and Petaya Berry activate. If your opponent lets you keep your Substitute, use Work Up to boost your special attack even more, but do be careful of Pokemon who try to boost their speed. Once you get down to that range where Petaya Berry and Torrent activate, destroy everything you can with your STAB Water-type Weather Ball in the Rain. If you don't want to rely on the rain, you can always go for Surf/Hydro Pump, but personally, Weather Ball works well for me!

Why are you using Inteleon and Pelipper in Gen 8 Anything Goes? Both mons are severely outclassed by Kyogre.

Gen 9 Inteleon (Doubles)

James Pond (Inteleon) @ Scope Lens/Focus Sash
Tera: Water
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
Modest Nature
-Snipe Shot
-Ice Beam
-Focus Energy
-Surf

As said in the title, this set is for doubles, as the Indigo Disk is officially 3 weeks away, and it focuses on doubles. Tera water for INSANE damage with snipe shot and surf, focus energy + scope lens give large crit chance on all of your moves. Sniper for supporting focus energy. You can do focus sash if you want to, in order to guaranteed survivability.

Why Special Defense when you can run SPEED?

Gen 9 NU Choice Specs/Scarf

Inteleon @ Choice Specs / Choice Scarf
Ability: Torrent
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid / Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- U-turn

Well, Inteleon recently got unbanned from NUBL, so here is a Choiced set it can use while it's in the tier. Hydro Pump is a really powerful Water STAB, being hard to switch in to due to the boost from Choice Specs. Water resists such Bruxish and Tauros-Paldea-Blaze get 2HKOed by Specs Hydro Pump. Surf is for a more reliable Water STAB that is useful late game should Inteleon not need the power from Hydro Pump to pick off an opposing team. Ice Beam allows Inteleon to hit Grass- and Dragon-types such as Goodra, Hisuian Electrode, Shaymin, Rotom-Mow, Wo-Chien, Dipplin, and Altaria super effectively. U-turn allows Inteleon to pivot out of bad matchups and bring in a teammate. Choice Specs gives Inteleon's attacks more power, while Choice Scarf allows Inteleon to revenge kill faster Pokemon such as Jolteon, Hisuian Electrode, and slower Choice Scarf Pokemon. Tera Water is used to boost the power of Inteleon's Water STABs, making them more dangerous to switch into.

Timid Nature allows Inteleon to outspeed Pokemon such as Salazzle and Scyther. Modest Nature is used to give Inteleon more power, and is mainly used if you use Choice Scarf since Inteleon will quite fast with a Choice Scarf, allowing it to use Modest on a Scarf set. You can use Modest Nature if you use Choice Specs to make Inteleon's attacks hit harder, but Inteleon will miss out on outspeed Salazzle if using Modest Nature on a Choice Specs set.

This one is interesting (this is basiclly a supporter Inteleon)

Inteleon @ Focus Sash
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Snipe Shot
- Aqua Ring
- Soak
- Tearful Look

Snipe Shot: I told you he is a supporter but that doesn't mean he can't deal damage
Aqua Ring: that is why I call this set a support set
Soak: Bring out the electric and grass types to punish em
Tearful Look: They now can't do damage

Feel free to down vote me if you don't like this moveset

I'm not really a fan of this moveset. It's... not good. Why are you trying to make Inteleon a bulky Pokemon? 70/65/65 is not going to do a good of a job of tanking moves, even with EVs invested. Also, if you were going for a bulky set, why 252 Special Defense EVs instead of 252 HP EVs? Focus Sash isn't really a good item on Inteleon. Aqua Ring is not good in any format. Soak is also not a good move for Inteleon. Tearful Look isn't going to help you tank moves, as 70/65/65 isn't the best of bulk for a Pokemon. Also, I'm confused wheter this set is for singles or doubles. If it's for doubles for some reason, don't use Inteleon in doubles. Inteleon is used as a special attacker. You shouldn't use a bulky Inteleon, as its heavily outclassed by actual bulky water types.

Inteleon @ Mystic Water
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Hydro Cannon
- Swords Dance
- Ice Beam

Surf because it has 100 accuracy and 90 base attack plus it is stab so there is no reason not to have it.
Hydro cannon because it does a lot of damage and it’s stab and since Inteleon has base 120 speed but since it has a cooldown you should only use it if the opponent is around low hp.
Swords dance because it sharply raises the attack so if torrent kicks in plus with the mystic water you will be able to do a lot of damage with Inteleon especially if you uses stab moves
Ice beam because you can easily handle grass, flying, and dragon types so electric would be your only issue.

by

Swords Dance raises Attack, not Special Attack. Surf, Ice Beam and Hydro Cannon are all Special moves and are unaffected by the boost from Swords Dance.
