Does Exp-Sharing EVs reduce them by half?

Question

Like a Gengar would defeat a Stunfisk (2 HP EVs), so Girafarig with Exp.Share would gain only 1 HP EV?

According to gamefaqs forums both the pokemon with exp share and the one that battles the opponent recieve full amount of EV .
