Is the Lumiose City save corruption glitch still possible?

I am aware that there have been updates since the glitch was originally possible but could the glitch still be performed if the updates where deleted?

You should be able to activate the glitch if you get an old cartridge and don't update it.

They fixed the glitch with the v. 1.1 patch, specifically.
It was funny to see them print out a diagram of the 'no save zone' in the official guidebook lol

This was patched in version 1.1. If you have an unpatched version of the game, then the glitch is still possible. Here's the map from Nintendo of where not to save in.
If you update to version 1.1 or newer, the glitch will be fixed as well as your save if it was affected by it.
