Like if you can’t find a Pokémon in any game in a future generation than the one it was introduced in. Not including Mythicals.

The closest I can think of would be any Kalos Pokemon that weren't in the Alolan Pokedex. I can't answer because for all I know there might be some super obscure exception I missed, but generally speaking, most Pokemon aren't restricted to an older game only.

Well, except for Spiky Eared Pichu, which cannot be traded or transferred from HGSS.
Not necessarily restricted to, but can be only found in. Like Mew can only be found in emerald (except it’s muthical so it doesn’t count) but yeah.
Faraway Island Mew to me feels more like a distribution, personally.
Some Pokemon were generation exclusive for a few years, like how the Regis where Generation 3 exclusive until BW2 came out.
Technically, whatever generation that is the newest completely consists of generation exclusive Pokémon, until the next generation comes out. :P
Well, yes. But my question is more as if from a previous generation.
Well any new Pokemon in sm and usum are gen exclusive. I am not sure which legends are in usum so I am not sure about them.Meltan and Melmetal are exclusive to let's go

Excluding Generation 7 Pokemon and event exclusive Pokemon

Generation I, Generation III, and Generation VI are the only generations where all non-event-exclusive Pokémon can be obtained without inter-generational communication.

In other words, all Pokemon from before Generation 7 are obtainable in their debut (pronounced DE-butt) generation and Generation 6. The only way a Pokemon can be generation-exclusive is if its debut generation is the same as Generation 6.

The list: Bunnelby, Diggersby, Skiddo, Gogoat, Espurr, Meowstic, Spritzee, Aromatisse, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Pumpkaboo, Gourgeist, Bergmite, Avalugg

Edit: Celebi and Deoxys are exclusive to generations 2 and 6, respectively. I overlooked them because they used to be event exclusive.

I though it was pronounced "Day-Byu".
Oh. Yeah. Why did I overlook this.
No my pronunciation is obviously right.
No, I meant I overlooked that the Gen 6 only had one generation after it, so the next generation obviously couldn’t have all of the Pokémon from the previous generation and previous generations couldn’t have Pokémon from future generations.
