Why was I trapped in this battle?

In the replay my xerneas uses geomancy. Whimsicot uses leech seed. Next turn it uses encore and I have to use geomany again. Then I cant switch. Why?

It’s becuase Geomancy is a two turn move. Once you use Geomancy, you have complete the move before switching out.
