I know you can avoid Sudowoodo; there is one tree that looks different than the Sudowoodo. Otherwise, IDK.

Ya I think you can. I'm putting as a comment because I'm pretty sure that I did it myself, but I'm not entirely sure. If you SR Everytime you grab a wrong item I don't think they reset. So just map out the correct items and choose those ones.

Yes. All you have to do is pick the right one, then you will only be able to battle the Totem.
