Is this question against the rules? There are multiple questions that ask about how to find shiny Pokemon in general.
I’ll edit the question slightly to something that might be more specific to the Pokémon.

This question is borderline too trivial for the site, but I'll answer it anyway. The flat chances of finding any shiny Pokémon in USUM is 1/4096, although the odds can be increased significantly using certain methods. The easiest way to get a shiny Grubbin would be to SOS chain. Find a Grubbin in the wild, use False Swipe to get it down to 1 HP, then use an Adrenaline Orb to increase your chances of finding it. Your chances of finding a shiny will increase every 10 calls, up to 31 encounters, where your chances max out at 13/4096, which is roughly 1/315. If you're willing to devote time to it, you can further increase your chances by getting the Shiny Charm, which increases the shiny chance for the whole game (with a few exceptions, that I'm not going to go over because they aren't relevant to this scenario). Here's how you can get the Shiny Charm, although be warned that it's a pretty big commitment and is by no means necessary for shinyhunting.

The best advice for shinyhunting in any game really is patience. SOS chaining is one of the easier methods in the series, so it's good for beginners, but you still have to know that sometimes, the game can be stubborn and when it is, there's really not much you can do other than persevere.

Keep trying. Also, you might want to try some methods that increase shiny rate.

The current chance to find a shiny is 1/4096. This can be increased however if you take in account some various shiny methods.

S.O.S Chaining

Basically, you find Grubbin in the wild and then use an Adrenaline Orb. This will make it likely to call for a partner Pokémon. OHKO the Pokémon it calls and repeat the process. Pokémon that are called for help when you have a chain length of 70 through 255 get three extra rolls when determining shiny.

Masuda Method

The Masuda Method is a method in which two different Pokémon from different regions can breed for increased shiny rate. The chances of the offspring being shiny is 6/4096.

Shiny Charm

If you have a shiny charm, the chances of finding a shiny in the wild goes to 3/4096. Note: Shiny Charm gains and the methods above do stack, so having a Shiny Charm is always a must. You can obtain the Shiny Charm by completing the Pokedex and talking to someone in the Game Freak office in Heahea City.

Oval Charm

The Oval Charm, on the other hand, is a key item that increases the chances of hatching a shiny from an egg. There is no fixed chance. This is achieved by defeating a trainer in a battle in the Game Freak office.

Some sources may not be official, but I couldn't really find too much info: -_-
