Are Lileep and Cradily useful?

I would like to know because I had a Lileep and I don't know what to do with it.

also, what exactly do you mean by useful? Every pokemon has its own use, be it a sweeper or cannon fodder

The ultimate purpose of Lileep/Cradily is to be a special tank, due to its good physical attack/special defense, and decent coverage.

Here's an example set for RSE UU:

Cradily @Leftovers
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Atk / 92 SpD
Moves:
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Recover

tl;dr Sponges special attacks, hits back hard, heals damage, wears down mons.

Is it useful though? You can make a set and a role for anything, but it may still be outclassed or ineffective.
