Can I store my Pokemon in Pokemon Bank so I can start a new game and save my good Pokemon?

I haven't used Pokemon Bank before and I'm not completely sure how it work's. Let's say I wanted to start a new game on Ultra Sun, but I wanted to save all my good Pokemon/Legendary ect. Can I put them into Pokemon Bank, start a new game and then put them onto the new save file?

Yes, the Pokemon you have will stay in Pokemon bank, and you can transfer them to your ultra sun. The only thing you can't do is transfer backward (to X/Y/OR/AS) because bank will recognize the Pokemon in it to be from gen 7.
