Is Poke Pelago sensitive to time changes?

So, let's say I did a time based event in Pelago, such as growing some berries. Now, after that let's say I change the time on my DS to speed up the proc- I mean because of Daylight Savings, of course! What other reason would there possibly be? But, anyway, saying I did that, would it actually speed up the process, or would I get locked out of time based events or some other consequence?

Yes it is. Don't change the time if you don't want to be locked out of time based events.
