Do seasons apply on the Battle Subway?

Question

Because I have battled 5 Deerlings and 4 Sawsbucks in winter on the Battle Subway and all I have seen are their spring forms. Do seasons work here?

It does but first they need to take their deerlings and sawbucks in the grass and then it woulld apply to the battle subway
