Does Destiny Bond affect normal types?

So I encountered a wild Trevenant just now, and I have a Noctowl in the front of team. The Trevenant just used Destiny Bond, and I might be an idiot, but will Destiny Bond affect Noctowl? Naturally, ghost types moves don't affect normal types, if I'm thinking correctly.

Destiny Bond can affect any Pokémon regardless of type. So yes, Destiny Bond would affect Noctowl.
