Can I get a Shiny Giratina in Platinum?

Can I soft reset for a shiny Giratina in Platinum, or is it shiny locked?

Starting in Pokemon Black and White, the developers started instituting locks where Pokemon could be caught in the wild, but prevented from being shiny.

Because shiny locks didn't exist until Gen 5, it is entirely possible to receive a shiny Giratina, whether you're playing Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum.

I don't think its shiny locked because theirs a video of someone in Pokemon Pearl soft resetting for a shiny Giratina and I don't think ingame legendary's are shiny locked but trust me it will take all week soft resetting for it
as its a 1/8192 chance for a shiny.
