i choose treecko as my starter but I want a torchic and/or mudkip to be recorded in my dex so it will be as I have caught that Pokemon already. if I trade my treecko for it, will it still say I have caught the treecko?
Yes, your pokedex will show that you have caught a Treecko, but you should probably catch another Pokemon later to trade for a Mudkip and Torchic, since you haven't evolved Treecko and recorded it's evolutions yet..
