I keep forgetting the names so I'm asking this. In case you don't know what I mean by "trio", I mean three legends from a region that are all linked together somehow like Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. I'd like names for all legend trios, not just the mascot legends.

Thanks in advance!

Didn't add any Pic cuz that'd lag the page.
Eon Duo is Gen 3, not 2.
Oh damn sorry editing
Miraidon and Koraidon, (Duo) and Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Chi-Yu, and Ting-Lu (Quartet)
Moltres zapdos and articuno are the winged mirages
Is  the best answer only box-art legendaries? there are a bunch of sub-legendaries that you didn't mention.
They also only asked for trios.
@froggyfrogsock, if there’s something missing, your comment should say what’s missing instead of saying something is missing. What’s missing?

Duos and quartets in the answer is fine.
The Toxic Chain trio from SV DLC 1 is missing. The paradox beasts and swords are debatable, but Home's GTS filtering counts them as legendaries, at least (and does not include other Paradox mons, other than the mascots). Mew and Mewtwo are sometimes grouped together as "the Mew duo."
This answer groups them by generation, so cross-generational additions are a bit awkward, but both the Regis and Forces of Nature received additional members after their debut that this answer is missing.
I believe Enamorus is part of the Forces of Nature.

Hope I helped. :)

Just one quick thing. Tornadus, Landorus and Thundurus are the Firces of Nature. Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem are the Tao trio. You got the two switched.
Oh yeah that makes more sense lol. Thank you.
