Why are the statistics bars in the Pokemondb.net Pokedex different colors?

For example, Charizard has four yellow bars and two green. What does this mean?

It's a way of indicating the quality of its stats. Roughly. If you look at Smogon they do the same thing but with more than three shades.

Red: Poor
Any stat number between 1 and 69.

Yellow: Mediocre
Any stat number between 70 and 99.

Green: Good
Any stat number 100 and up.
