Does breeding with a ditto mean worse stats in the offspring?

Some pokemon you can only breed with a ditto, and I guess its common to see one used as a shortcut to an egg if you only have one parent of the species you need, but do parents of the same species yield better offspring stats compared to a pair with a ditto in it? Its a myth I heard a while ago that I would really like answered. Please help.

Not at all, It all varies when you get the Egg if bred with or without Ditto. If you give one of the parents a Power Itemv(Power Anklet, Power Bracer, Power Band, Power Belt, Power Lens, Power Weight) to hold, you have a higher chance to get higher IVS, which means you get higher Stats.
