At this point of time, can I get the Shiny Xerneas/Yveltal event?

In Japan, there is a Shiny Xerneas/Yveltal event going on right now, but as it is a serial code event, and the serial code has been released, will I be able to input it and receive the event?

Yveltal's event starts tomorrow. And you can only get the Xerneas if you have a Japanese 3DS and copy of ORAS/XY
