Can Shuckle still make RC in the PC?

Question

I have a Shuckle in Pokemon Silver, and it is currently holding a Berry Juice. If I put it in the PC, will it still be able to make a Rare Candy?

No, it won't. Unless you have Shuckle in your party and walk a decent amount, Shuckle doesn't produce anything. It's not a time based event, but rather a step based one, like hatching of eggs and stuff.
