How can I make my pokemon breed or laying an egg on Pokemon Platinum?

You have to put the female evolved form in the daycare (in Soleceon Town) with a male of the same egg group. For example:

Female Pikachu Male Cherrim

                       Outcome: Pichu

(if you make the Pikachu hold a light ball, Pichu will know volt tackle(120 damage!!!)
