Can I breed a different pattern vivillion?

Question

So, for example, if I receive a female sun pattern vivillion from a trade, when I breed with it with a ditto, will it come out as a scatterbug that will become a sun pattern vivillion or a scatterbug that will become a river pattern vivillion? (River pattern is my native.)

all scatterbug, spewpa, and vivillions that are born or captured in your game will have your native pattern.

if you receive a scatterbug or spewpa from a trade and then evolve it, it will have whatever patern is native to the person who was the original trainer.
