I admit, this seems tricky, but there really is a possible explanation for this:
Dubbing errors.
Basically, the English episodes are all dubbed, and you can't always get perfect translations. Thus such slight inaccuracies are seen through out the show. This doesn't necessarily mean they 'forgot', but it is also possible that they made an honest mistake. But most probably the Japanese word didn't have a direct translation, so they went ahead with "ta-da!"
