How do you get through the Ice Path that leads to Blackthorn City?

I already have done the first floor, but I have trouble getting through the stone puzzle, so I decided to leave it alone for now until I can figure it out. But really, I'm stumped.

Answer 1

From the beginning:

1. Enter the cave
2. Get passed the 3 stairs and the ice floor. Go down the ladder (should be very simple seeing it's the only path)
3. Fall through the first hole you can encounter
4. Once down, your object is to get to the ladder is the center
5. Walk around and go up the ladder (at the right)
6. Skate down and go up the ladder
7. Go left to the next ladder
8. Go down and try to get through the ice path (this might be harder than the rest). You will see a cave when you reach across it. This cave leads you to blackthorne city.
