Is a Kecleon Shop no longer a shop after you buy all the items from it?

When playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team, I was at Mt. Faraway when I bought all the items from a Kecleon Shop. I then found a Hunger Seed and went back to the shop to sell it, but the Kecleon didn't warp to offer to let me sell the Hunger Seed. So, my question is, does a Kecleon Shop in a dungeon no longer become a shop after buying all the items from it?

From my knowledge, yes, Kecleon's Shop becomes defunct for that rescue mission after you buy everything he has. Or stealing it.

Man, I loved stealing from Kecleon shops.
