Why does my Treecko bounce twice? (Emerald version)?

In Pokemon Emerald, I was doing some soft resetting to get a shiny Treecko, and I noticed something. Usually, right after Treecko comes out of the pokeball, it will bounce left then right. But occasionally, there will be a Treecko that bounces left, right, left, and right again. I kept one of these to see if that was just something that happens at random to any treecko. It did these extra bounces every single time it came out of the pokeball. Why are these certain Treecko special?

It was probably just a glitch, or just a slight variation in the animation. There weren't many mechanics that could cause that in early games, so I'm guessing it was a glitch. Sorry I couldn't be more detailed :0
