Compatible Egg groups for breeding?

i am trying to get a thick fat mamoswine but realize that ability is his HA, I am wondering if can I breed it with a snolax with that ability for it to the ability on or is there another way to get that ability?

The only way to get a HA Swinub by breeding is to actually breed a Thick Fat Mamoswine. You can also have either a Ice Friend Safari with Piloswine and try to find one with a HA, and evolve it.

Unfortunately, that's not how it works. Pokemon can't get abilities from their breeding partners. Your best bet is to either 1) try to get an Ice Friend Safari in Pokemon X or Y that has Piloswine, or 2) go to one of the websites with a place to trade, like Pokemon Showdown!'s Wi-Fi room, or GameFAQ's Trade Board.
