Power Trick + Cosmic Power?

I did a quick search to see if this has been asked but couldn't find anything.

So, my question is what happens if you use a move to boost your defence, and the use Power Trick.

In particular, I was thinking of Claydol, which gets Power Trick and Cosmic Power (although I'm sure there are other examples). So you use Cosmic Power to boost your Defence, and then use Power Trick to switch your Defence with your Attack. Do those Defence stat boosts carry over to your Attack, or are the re-applied to the changed Defence value?

Power Trick doesn't effect Stat Boosts, so in your scenario if Claydol used Cosmic Power (increasing it's Defense and Special Defense by 1 stage), and then afterwards followed by using Power Trick, it would still have +1 in Defense and Special Defense and not +1 in Attack and Special Defense.

>Power Trick switches the user's Attack stat with its Defense stat, however any boosts or reductions that have been applied to those stats are not switched. Using Power Trick again will remove the effect. The effect of Power Trick may be Baton Passed (swapping the recipient's stats).
