Will Substitute fade if I use Belly Drum?

Question

I am training my Poliwrath to use Focus Punch and it knows Belly Drum so I want to make sure because it is my last Substitute TM.

Belly Drum only takes half of the HP you have, and it does not affect the Substitute in any way. So have fun with that strategy.

Personally though, Belly Drum and Substitute costs you too much HP - I recommend doing 1 of them only.
