Why can't I change my name?

I have recently used my GTS to get a Yveltal, but its name was in Japanese. I knew what it said but I wanted to change the name I went over to the name changer guy but he wouldn't change it - he kept saying "That is a truly impeccable nickname!". It didn't even have a nick name Is there really no way to change it?

You can't change the name of a Pokemon unless you are the Original Trainer (OT).
That means you must catch/breed the Pokemon yourself in order to change its name.
